Dark Elf

This artwork is part of a series of paintings/illustrations/studies conducted with my Left (non-dominant) hand. This challenge will span 8 weeks in duration. Everyday has been an interesting/frustrating/rewarding/educational experience so far. Hope you'll enjoy the journey along with me.

The above was just a fun doodle to see what would develop organically. It's not typical (for me) to start a painting without first laying down some rough sketches. However, I felt like mixing it up. This was also about playing with different brushes. It was a great wind down at the end of the day.
